My name is Kristen, and I am totally in love with the One
who created me! I am currently in my second year of college at Bowie
State University in Maryland. I am studying Elementary Education
because I love teaching and I love children- really I just love all
people. I am quite the people person! I attend Grace Baptist Church
that is a few blocks away from my home, and I am unspeakably blessed to
have the church family that I do. Though our church is rather big, so
many people there have true, genuine relationships with the Lord and it
is refreshing to see.

I am a middle school leader in
our youth program at Grace and I absolutely love them! One thing about
me is that I love! I love without limits and I show that love in
various ways, which takes some people by surprise. I love to laugh and
smile and show the joy that is available only through Jesus Christ! I
am the type of person who is always on the go and I rarely take time to
be still with the Lord... which is something He is teaching me to do
every day! Beholding His beauty and being in His presence is all that I
long for. I desire to love people- all people.
      I have
been told, and I must agree, that I have a dominating and "leader"
personality. I am task-oriented and an idealist. I think of how things
should be and expect them to be, work at it to get it as close to ideal
as possible, and then sometimes get let down. (Another area in which
God is teaching me.) Though I am a "leader" and "dominating", I live my
life by loving. I don't think logically all of the time- my heart just
seems to take over. Even when my head knows something is good and
logical, my heart takes a little while to catch up- especially when it
comes to big changes.
      I have a very close-knit
family that I love very much and am blessed to have. They are such huge
gifts from God and I must admit, I take them for granted way too much.
I am blessed- beyond what I deserve, and I am eternally grateful.
